CrochetBind off

I find this bind off easy and it gives a very nice edge. Even if you do not crochet we are simply knitting with the crochet hook. Usually it is best to try and use the same size crochet hook as your knitting needle or similar size at least. If you want the bind off to be tighter use a smaller crochet hook, if you want a looser bind off use a larger crochet hook.

In these pictures I used a size 9 needle and an "I" crochet hook.

Knit one stitch with the crochet hook.
Knit another stitch with the crochet hook, now you have two stitches on the crochet hook.
Pull the second stitch on the crochet hook through the first stitch.

Knit one stitch with the crochet hook.
Knit a second stitch with the crochet hook.
Pull the second stitch on the crochet hook through the first stitch.

Repeat in this manner until you have only one stitch left on the crochet hook and pull the yarn through that loop to lock it up.
